What the funding supports

Time and infrastructure for work that remains public.

Open source is free to use, but not free to create or maintain. Funding gives Neoground more room to keep existing work dependable and publish useful new systems.

01

Repository maintenance

Dependency updates, compatibility work, issue review, security maintenance, testing, release preparation, and long-term technical stewardship.

02

Hosting and tooling

Documentation, demos, CI pipelines, package distribution, build systems, monitoring, storage, and the infrastructure around public projects.

03

Features and documentation

New capabilities, fixes, examples, migration guidance, reference material, and the work required to make projects easier to adopt.

04

New public projects

Libraries, tools, applications, experiments, and snippets that can become a positive addition to the wider open-source ecosystem.

Funding commitment

Net proceeds are used solely for eligible Neoground open-source activity, including the developer time required to perform that work.

Other ways to fund the work

Larger support and alternative payment routes.

Use corporate sponsorship for a structured relationship or crypto for a direct one-time contribution under the same open-source funding policy.

Enterprise and corporate Discuss a larger sponsorship.

Companies can support the open-source program, a specific project, a maintenance objective, infrastructure, documentation, or a defined body of public work.

  • One-time or ongoing funding
  • Project-specific or program-wide support
  • Optional recognition or benefits by explicit agreement
  • Agreement and invoice for a clear commercial record
Separate from a voluntary contribution

Corporate sponsorship is discussed directly and documented through an agreement. Any visibility, reporting, access, or other consideration is defined there rather than implied by this page.
