Neoground processes personal data responsibly, purposefully, and only where it is required to operate this website, protect its infrastructure, respond to inquiries, or meet legal obligations.
The website does not use advertising trackers, behavioural profiling, or third-party analytics. Technical services are selected and configured to minimise the personal data involved.

Scope of this policy
This privacy policy applies to the Neoground corporate website and the services provided directly through it.
Separate products, platforms, client systems, or services may be governed by their own privacy information where their processing activities differ from those described here.
Website access and server statistics
When this website is accessed, technical request data is processed to deliver the requested content, maintain reliable operation, defend the infrastructure against attacks, and investigate technical or security incidents.
Our origin systems record IP addresses in shortened form by omitting the final segment. The log data is also evaluated to produce internal website statistics, including overall traffic, requested pages, referral sources, response codes, browser categories, and technical performance.
These statistics help us understand how the website is used, improve its content and structure, identify technical problems, and plan infrastructure capacity.
We do not use the log data to identify individual visitors, create personal browsing profiles, track people across websites, or combine website activity with contact or customer records.
Statistical reports are generated in aggregated form. Once the information has been irreversibly aggregated and can no longer be linked to an identifiable visitor, it is no longer personal data.
Processing of the underlying log data is based on our legitimate interests in providing, securing, analysing, and improving a reliable corporate website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Shortened IP address
- Date and time of access
- Requested page, file, or resource
- HTTP method and response status
- Amount of data transferred
- Browser and operating-system information
- Referring page, where transmitted
- Technical error and security information
Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare to protect the website against malicious traffic, denial-of-service attacks, automated abuse, and other security threats. Cloudflare also provides reverse-proxy, content-delivery, DNS, and performance services.
When a request is made to this website, it normally passes through Cloudflare's global network before reaching our infrastructure in Germany. Cloudflare may therefore process technical connection and request data, including IP addresses, security signals, browser information, requested resources, and request timestamps.
We use Cloudflare on the basis of our legitimate interests in secure, resilient, and efficient delivery of the website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Cloudflare acts as a service provider and processor for relevant processing activities. We have concluded the applicable data-processing terms with Cloudflare.
Because Cloudflare operates a global network, data may be processed outside Germany and the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred to the United States or another third country, Cloudflare relies on applicable safeguards including adequacy decisions, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as relevant.
Further information is available in Cloudflare's privacy and data-protection documentation.
Hosting and infrastructure
The website, its origin systems, application services, databases, and locally managed operational data are hosted on infrastructure operated by Neoground in Germany.
Cloudflare's globally distributed edge network remains upstream of this German infrastructure for security and delivery purposes.
Access to the underlying systems is restricted to authorised personnel and service providers who require it for operation, maintenance, security, or support.
Essential cookies and local storage
This website may use a limited number of cookies or comparable browser-storage mechanisms that are technically required to provide functions expressly requested by the visitor.
These may include a temporary PHP session identifier, security-related state, language or interface preferences, and other information required to maintain the requested session or functionality.
These technologies are not used for advertising, cross-site tracking, or behavioural profiling.
Where storage or access is strictly necessary to provide the requested digital service, it takes place under Section 25(2) TDDDG. Any associated processing of personal data is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR or, where required to provide a requested service, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Session cookies are generally removed when the browser session ends. Preference cookies may remain until their defined expiry date or until they are deleted through the browser.
Contact and inquiry forms
When you contact us by form, email, or another communication channel, we process the information you provide to understand, assess, and answer your inquiry.
Website forms are handled by systems developed and operated by Neoground. Form submissions are not routed through an external marketing, form-management, or customer-tracking platform.
Required fields are limited to the information needed to transmit and process the request. Additional information is voluntary.
Where an inquiry concerns a possible or existing contractual relationship, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other business and general inquiries are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in handling relevant communications under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Where records must be retained for accounting, commercial, tax, compliance, or legal reasons, subsequent retention is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Name and contact details
- Company and role, where provided
- Subject and content of the inquiry
- Files or supporting material submitted with the inquiry
- Date, time, and technical delivery information
- Related correspondence and follow-up information
Provision of information
You are not legally required to provide personal data through this website.
Certain information may nevertheless be required where it is necessary to answer an inquiry, prepare an offer, enter into a contract, provide a requested service, or meet legal requirements. Without that information, we may be unable to process the request or provide the relevant service.
Please do not submit confidential, sensitive, or special-category personal data unless it is necessary for the matter and an appropriate transmission method has been agreed.
Recipients and service providers
Personal data is available only to people and service providers who need it for the relevant purpose.
This may include authorised Neoground personnel, infrastructure and security providers, professional advisers, accounting or legal service providers, and public authorities where disclosure is legally required.
Service providers processing personal data on our behalf are selected carefully and are bound by applicable contractual and data-protection obligations.
We do not sell personal data and do not disclose it to third parties for their independent advertising or behavioural profiling.
International data transfers
Our own website and application infrastructure is operated in Germany. International processing may nevertheless occur where a provider operates a global technical network, particularly Cloudflare.
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is based on an adequacy decision, appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or another mechanism permitted under Chapter V GDPR.
Information about applicable safeguards may be requested using the privacy contact details above.
Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as it is required for the purpose for which it was collected.
Relevant factors include the duration of a communication or contractual relationship, operational and security requirements, limitation periods, the establishment or defence of legal claims, and statutory record-keeping obligations.
Once the applicable purpose and retention obligations have ended, the information is deleted or anonymised unless continued processing is legally permitted or required.
Backup copies may remain for a limited additional period within protected backup systems and are removed through the applicable backup lifecycle.
Security
Neoground applies appropriate technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, loss, disclosure, or destruction.
These measures include modern TLS encryption, hardened Linux infrastructure, access controls, network and application-layer protection, security monitoring, restricted administrative access, resilient backups, and regular maintenance.
Security measures are reviewed and developed in line with the systems involved, the nature of the data, current technical standards, and the relevant risk.
No internet transmission or information system can provide an absolute guarantee of security. We therefore combine preventive controls with monitoring, recovery procedures, and incident-response processes.
No advertising tracking or profiling
The website does not use third-party advertising trackers, cross-site behavioural analytics, tracking pixels, social-media tracking scripts, or visitor fingerprinting.
Website measurement is derived from our own server logs and used only for aggregated operational and content statistics.
Neoground does not use this information to identify individual visitors, create personal browsing profiles, or follow visitors across unrelated websites.
Automated decisions
Neoground does not use personal data collected through this website for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.

Subject to the conditions and limitations of applicable law, you may exercise the following rights in relation to your personal data.
- Access to personal data processed about you
- Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion of personal data
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests
- Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority, particularly in the EU member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
